Brief entries of criminal cases tried in the district. Each entry includes case number, name of defendant, dates, charge, plea, disposition, and sentence. Arranged by case number. Also includes docket books giving brief entries of cases tried by the county trial magistrates prior to establishment of the District Court. Each volume is arranged chronologically and most contain an index. Series not fully processed. Criminal cases after 1981 are available through the Judicial Information System, a statewide database for accessing court records. Eventually information from all records back to July 1971 will be found in JIS through a program to replace paper records with electronic media and film copies.
