This series consists of inventories taken of records still in the custody of their originating agencies or courts. These inventories are snapshots of what exists in an agency or courthouse at a particular time, and are not updated, though they may be superseded by later inventories. Each unit in this series represents an agency or court, and the inventories appear as sub-units. The date of each sub-unit is the date at which the inventory was taken.
